About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Category Buyer to join our team at REWE Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for negotiating with industrial FMCG suppliers, preparing negotiation strategies, and finalizing contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Develop and implement negotiation strategies, build strong relationships with suppliers, and manage contracts to ensure optimal pricing and terms.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Conduct thorough market research, analyze industry trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Category Management: Develop and implement category strategies, manage category budgets, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reporting and analytics to stakeholders, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and market trends.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Purchasing, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with proficiency in French and/or German.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, category management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
