About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Category Buyer to join our team at REWE Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for negotiating with international FMCG suppliers, developing and implementing procurement strategies, and ensuring alignment between our partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiation and Procurement: Develop and execute negotiation strategies with international FMCG suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing and terms.
  • Category Development: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for category growth and development.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products, while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to stakeholders on procurement performance, market trends, and category development.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Purchasing, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with proficiency in French and/or German.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, category management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
