Technical Co-Founder and CTO for XR Division at medverse GmbH

Medverse GmbH is a pioneering company in the field of virtual reality high-fidelity education. As the Technical Co-Founder and CTO for the XR division, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's product and technology strategy.
Your primary responsibilities will include leading the development and implementation of the company's product and technology strategy, ensuring it is future-proof, clean, maintainable, and aligned with the overall business strategy.
You will also act as the primary spokesperson for the company on matters related to technology, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and other public forums.
Additionally, you will define and implement engineering strategies and procedures that align with the company's mission and vision.
Key qualifications for this role include proven experience as a CTO or senior technology leader in a start-up or other fast-paced environment, passion for technology, and strong leadership skills.
You will also be responsible for building and managing a high-performing technology team, setting goals, providing mentorship and coaching, and promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Furthermore, you will collaborate with the CEO, sales, finance, and marketing teams to keep track of requirements, development budgets, and product design.
As a key member of the team, you will stay current on new technologies and industry trends, and continuously explore opportunities to integrate them into the company's products and services.
Key qualifications for this role include proven experience as a CTO or senior technology leader in a start-up or other fast-paced environment, passion for technology, and strong leadership skills.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of DevOps principles, VR technology, and immersive technology trends, as well as strong expertise in VR development tools and languages like Unity and C#.
Fluency in German and English is required, with other languages being a plus.
