Senior Operations Manager

TE Connectivity is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our site, ensuring seamless execution of our manufacturing processes, and implementing strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to meet customer demands and drive business growth
- Lead cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency, quality, and safety
- Collaborate with sales and product management teams to expand business activities and identify new opportunities
- Drive Lean manufacturing strategies to achieve continuous improvements and cost reductions
- Develop and implement sales and operational planning processes to achieve superior operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction
- Lead and support development and transformation of the plant across all departments and functions to support business strategy
- Manage working capital levels in line with business needs and commitments
- Bachelor's degree or Master's in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering
- At least 10 years' experience within a global manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years operations management experience
- 3-5 years' experience with LEAN Manufacturing and LEAN Business Processes
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to build and motivate effective teams
- Experience working with multiple customers and suppliers in a low volume high mix industry
- Demonstrated experience leading factory transformation and project management leadership
- Knowledge of sales & operations planning and supply chain areas (inventory, materials planning, buying)
- Fluency in English and German
