About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project and Application Manager to join our team at the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety. As a key member of our PL4 "Digitization of Health Consumer Protection" department, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our digital health consumer protection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with our overall strategy.
  • Lead the development of our "ecertBY" application, a digital platform for certification and export of food and feed products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to determine project priorities, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on digital transformation and health consumer protection.
  • Strong understanding of certification processes and export regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel for business purposes.
  • Fluent German language skills (at least B2 level according to CEFR).
