Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to our procurement team, ensuring the selection of high-quality suppliers and components.
  • Commodity Strategy: Develop and implement commodity strategies that align with our business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, value engineering, and supplier portfolio management.
  • Portfolio Management: Standardize and optimize our supplier base, ensuring the selection of beneficial components and raw materials.
  • Sustainability: Collaborate with our supplier network and internal stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives and reduce our environmental footprint.
  • Innovation Management: Identify and evaluate innovative ideas and solutions from suppliers, ensuring their alignment with our business needs.
  • Cost and Value Engineering: Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Supplier Portfolio Management: Influence supplier selection and development, ensuring the introduction of new suppliers and the phase-out of underperforming ones.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Steer and execute our supplier quality strategy, ensuring conformance to requirements and improving supplier performance.
  • Leadership and Network Building: Foster global technology and quality networks, promoting exchange of information and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Completed university studies in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, product development, R&D, or engineering functions.
  • Strategic thinking, innovative orientation, decision-making, customer focus, and results-driven approach.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, presentation, and moderation methods.
  • Expertise in project management, cost analysis, and optimization, as well as management of cross-functional and intercultural teams.
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
