Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Advanced Energy. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within our assigned market segment in EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs and goals.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in sales and support to drive growth and revenue.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with our Business Units and Engineering teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics.
- Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to customers, working closely with our Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
- Travel and Communication: Travel as needed to support customers and attend industry events, maintaining excellent communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with our global team.
Requirements:
- Experience: Several years of applicable sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Skills: Proven sales attitude and skills, ability to comprehend and relate technical product and process specifications, strong team player with excellent organizational skills and communication skills.
Work Environment:
Workplace in either a local Advanced Energy office or home office, with domestic and international travel required (approximately 30-40% of the time).
