Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Facilities Engineer to join our Site Operations Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the overall health of our mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and performance of all data modules in our data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer the engineering and operations functions at the facility, ensuring safe and effective operation of machinery and building systems.
- Hold employees accountable for preventive and corrective maintenance of facility equipment.
- Understand and respond to operational and emergency situations, recognizing system performance deficiencies immediately.
- Encourage and foster a team-oriented environment through positive feedback and training.
- Manage contracted service work at the facility, including bidding, awarding, and administering contracts.
- Direct and maintain the site-specific preventive maintenance and work order program.
- Oversee projects on execution and quality, ensuring they meet or exceed industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Profound expertise in mission-critical infrastructure installations and overall site infrastructure, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Experience in facility/plant engineering and maintenance supervision, with direct managerial experience and interpersonal skills.
- Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service, with ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and building automation systems.
