As a Capital Markets Researcher, you will be responsible for reviewing free float for various securities, which involves collecting information on the shareholding structure for our universe of companies, analyzing shareholder types and calculating the free float factor based on our internal guideline, reviewing foreign ownership restrictions applicable to individual companies, sectors, or countries, and reviewing the number of shares outstanding for our universe of companies. You will also track corporate events and review their impact on the free float of a security, maintain existing data feeds, and work with internal and external parties to enhance them, and perform quality assessments of the data as per product and index review schedules. To succeed in this role, you should be an enrolled student in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or a similar field, have a strong interest in capital markets, be competent in handling MS-Office applications, have attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
