Primary Duties:
- Develop and implement employability and life skills programs for inmates.
- Administer and interpret assessments to identify inmate needs and abilities.
- Deliver the 100-Hour Transition Skills Education program curriculum to inmates.
- Collaborate with community providers and employers to facilitate pre-release connections and job placement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of services delivered and inmate progress.
Requirements:
- An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and one year of related work experience, or a high school diploma and two years of professional experience in workforce development, social services, corrections, or a related field.
- Knowledge of administrative principles and practices, office procedures, data collection methods, and effective communication techniques.
- Proficient computer skills in Excel and Microsoft Word software, and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to work in a secured prison setting, communicate effectively with inmates, and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
