We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to join our team in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. As a key member of our Global Human Resources & Corporate Citizenship organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the effective management of internal and external Employee Relations (ER) matters and ER-related risks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert support and advice to business divisions and corporate functions throughout Germany, Switzerland and Austria on ER-related matters.
- Identify, research and resolve complex employee relations issues in partnership with HRBPs, managers and employees.
- Facilitate employee relations investigations and provide support and advice to investigating and hearing managers to ensure a fair and consistent approach.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on employee relations and conduct matters, including legal, risk, compliance, etc.
- Manage worker council bodies in Germany in close collaboration with the HR Country Head.
- Provide a country view and guidance on local requirements for global projects, initiatives and policies.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest ER practices and developments, understanding changes in legislation and implementing them as needed.
- Ability to think systemically and consult strategically with all levels of managers and leaders.
- Good managerial courage and ability to have effective critical conversations.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and local law and regulations in Germany, including co-determination.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating and negotiating with worker council bodies.
- Experience working within a global organization and matrix structures.
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
