At Volz Servos, we're a leading innovator in electromechanical actuators for the rapidly expanding UAV, OPV, drone, and Urban/Advanced Air Mobility industries. We're seeking a skilled Verification Engineer to join our dynamic development team.
About the RoleWe're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Verification Engineer to conceptualize and execute test and verification scenarios, firmware, hardware, EMC, and environmental tests for high and low-level requirements according to DO 178C. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for reviewing system and software requirements, defining success criteria, scripting test automation schemes with MATLAB/Simulink, and supporting the development, deployment, and maintenance of test benches, equipment, and tools.
Requirements- University or technical college degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent
- 3+ years of professional experience in development and verification within the aerospace industry
- Working knowledge of design and performance of verification scenarios according to DO-178B/C Level A to Level D for real-time embedded software
- Knowledge of RTCA DO178B/C guidelines and software development life cycle (SDLC-V-Model)
- Experience in development of requirements and requirement reviews
- Proficient in performing Requirement-Based HSIT, SIT, unit testing, and manual code analysis
- Programming languages: Python (advanced), C (basic knowledge)
- Fluent English written and spoken, German is a plus
