Technical Product Owner Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner to join our team at Digital Charging Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for maximizing the product's value through collaborative delivery efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clarify requirements with engineers to ensure clear and understandable functional and technical aspects
  • Manage the product backlog, including functional requirements and technical aspects such as architecture and infrastructure requirements
  • Prioritize items in the product backlog based on value to the customer, company, and technical requirements
  • Work with engineers to create release plans, ensuring features are released in a timely manner and at regular intervals
  • Define clear acceptance criteria for each product backlog item to ensure finished features meet both functional and technical requirements
  • Identify and assess technical risks related to the product and collaborate with the team to take appropriate measures to mitigate risks
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science, business administration, or equivalent qualification
  • At least 4-5 years of experience within the IT industry
  • Experience in agile software development and delivery, and/or extensive experience in SaaS operational service delivery
  • Ability to understand complexity metrics in the software development area
  • Strong experience in IT/software specification and design
  • Profound experience with UML, Restful APIs, Design Patterns, and Cloud Providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Experience in software development
  • Business knowledge in the automotive/mobility industry is a plus
  • Solid communication skills, an agile mindset, and the ability to work independently as well as team-oriented
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
