About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Tiffany & Co. in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements for invoice processing and payment execution.
- Prepare and execute timely payment runs, including bank transfers, to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Verify, code, and post overhead invoices in our financial systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to provide support with day-to-day operations, including reconciliations and discrepancies.
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle complex invoices, including CAPEX, freight, Duty, and employee expense invoices, with precision and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to reconcile statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or accounting, preferably with a strong background in financial operations.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems.
- Attention to detail and experience with JD Edwards, a plus.
- Fluency in German and good English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and colleagues.
