We are seeking an experienced Team Lead of Data Science & Analytics to join our Marketing Analytics Engineering team at Vinted. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a talented team of Analytics Engineers and driving the development of our marketing data model.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Lead a team of three Analytics Engineers and unlock their full potential.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a 3-12 month roadmap that aligns with stakeholder needs and ensures seamless collaboration with other marketing data teams.
- Data Migration: Plan and execute the migration of our marketing data model to Google Cloud Platform.
- Data Ownership: Take full ownership of our diverse data pipelines, ensuring data compatibility and accuracy.
- Data Stack Optimization: Manage the growth and increased complexity of marketing attribution models and pipelines, ensuring robust campaigns payback calculations.
- Data Quality: Introduce best Analytics Engineering practices and ensure they are used to improve current and future data products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with peer people leaders, analytics engineers, data and decision scientists within Marketing DSA, as well as front- and back-end engineers from Marketplace Product to ensure robust and accurate data pipelines.
- Data Governance: Develop and oversee robust data governance and quality frameworks to ensure the integrity of marketing efficiency data.
- Proven experience in managing large and long-term data projects.
- Outstanding business acumen, analytical skills, and long-term planning skills.
- Well-organised with a collaborative attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
- Exceptional understanding of SQL and experience with dashboarding tools.
- Experience with complex ROI or marketing efficiency performance reporting models.
- Solid knowledge of at least one statistical programming language.
- Familiarity with data modelling frameworks for analytical purposes.
- Excellent English communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
