GXP CONSULTING Switzerland is a Swiss engineering and consulting company with a team of Life Science professionals. We provide industry expertise and support to clients in the product life cycle.

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to develop and program automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with DeltaV and/or Syncade systems and be familiar with Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, optimize, and troubleshoot production and cleaning recipes in Syncade in coordination with engineering and quality teams.
  • Develop and update Electronics Batch Records (EBR) during first batches.
  • Provide automation input for CQV activities.
  • Monitor and change processes under change control during start-up, qualification, and production phases.
  • Contribute to risk and process deviation analyses.
  • Participate in the issuance of validation documentation, including protocols, test plans, and reports.
  • Support execution of CQV activities related to the scope of responsibilities.
  • Ensure all automation systems are compliant with Quality, Regulatory, and Safety requirements.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Automation, or related field). A master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering, with a strong focus on DeltaV.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or equivalent regulated environments.
  • Good understanding of CQV activities and requirements in regulated industries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Languages: Fluent in English plus French and/or German.
