Your Role

As a strong communicator, you'll lead the planning and design of building automation systems, working closely with your team to develop complex solutions in the field of building automation and digitalization. Your expertise will be invaluable in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, where you'll be responsible for planning BMS/EMS systems for regulated cleanroom environments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Independent project management of building automation in various projects
  • Engineering & Design of building automation with focus on Building Management /Environmental Monitoring Systems (BMS/EMS) and interfaces for production and lab buildings
  • Planning and design of systems in all engineering project phases (concept, basic, detail engineering)
  • Drafting of technical specifications and planning documents
  • Planning of project budgets in cooperation with the purchasing department
  • Supplier selection and coordination in the project

Your Qualifications

  • Successfully completed technical studies in the field of automation technology, electrical engineering, technical computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering, construction, handling or commissioning of control and automation systems
  • Experience in plant project planning in the pharmaceutical sector is an advantage
  • Dealing with relevant international standards (e.g. VOB, possibly HOAI and work contract law) are an advantage
  • Subproject and project management know-how
  • Very good knowledge of network infrastructures, network configurations, network protocols (including switching, routing, wireless networks), database technologies and intelligent data processing
  • Good knowledge of building automation bus systems (e.g. BACnet, Profinet, Profibus) as well as planning tools
  • Of advantage: EMS/BMS Systems (Siemens, Schneider, Copa-Data, Neuberger, Briem etc.)
  • Very good communication skills and ability to cooperate
  • Good knowledge of English (B2) and German (C1 and better)
