Research Leader in AI and Computational Biology

We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished Research Leader to join our team at EMBL. As a Group Director in Artificial Intelligence and Genome Biology, you will lead an independent research group to pursue cutting-edge research in AI and computational biology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an original and ambitious research plan in AI and computational biology.
- Lead a team of researchers and collaborate with colleagues to advance our understanding of genome biology.
- Apply AI-based approaches to address questions in genome biology, including model-based approaches for genome regulation, proteomics, and exposome research.
- Integrate computational programs with experimental activities and facilities in the Unit and at EMBL.
- Ph.D. and post-doctoral track record relevant to AI/computational biology.
- Excellent research plan with original and ambitious research goals.
- Strong motivation to collaborate with colleagues and train, nurture, and mentor your team.
