Job Title: Field Service Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Manager to join our team at microTECH Global LTD. As a Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical staff in our Product Service workshop in Cologne, Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical and disciplinary management of the technical and administrative staff in Product Service (workshop, technical service) Cologne
- Technical and business management of the workshop in Cologne including the associated technical customer service department
- Continuous coordination and deployment planning of team activities for the orders to be processed
- Carrying out the associated team manager tasks, e.g. performance appraisals, employee appraisals, conflict resolution, team support, etc.
- Quality monitoring and compliance with the repair lead time and implementation of countermeasures if necessary
- Process optimisation as well as training of processes and work instructions
- Monitoring compliance with processes and countermeasures in the event of deviations
- Responsibility for compliance with all safety regulations to prevent accidents
- Budget responsibility for the materials warehouse and service orders, including responsibility for forecasting and budget planning
- Operational collaboration in repairs, incoming goods, service tasks and customer service
- Participation in projects and taking on your own sub-projects in your area of responsibility
- KPI reporting based on specified parameters
Requirements:
- Completed technical studies (e.g. engineer) or equivalent technical training with additional qualification
- Several years of experience in a similar role
- Several years of experience in managing technical staff and very good leadership skills
- Very good analytical skills and business knowledge
- Ability to analyse and structure complex issues and organise processes accordingly
- Strong customer orientation and good communication skills with different contacts
- Very structured and goal-orientated way of working
- Very good SAP and KPI knowledge
- Business fluent German and very good English skills
