Job Summary

This role is a critical member of the Vectrus team, providing expert technical support for our network infrastructure. As a Chief Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless network operations and high availability. Your exceptional problem-solving skills and in-depth knowledge of networking protocols, systems administration, and cybersecurity principles will be invaluable assets in this position.

Responsibilities

* Provide Tier 1 technical support for network-related tasks and escalate issues as needed
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network problems and implement solutions
* Conduct site surveys to identify opportunities for wireless service expansion
* Manage the Government-provided networks, including configuration, installation, security, and troubleshooting
* Install and configure network devices, such as switches, routers, and access points
* Perform preventive maintenance checks on communication systems and equipment
* Troubleshoot network issues using industry-standard tools and methodologies
* Collaborate with the COR and Government Systems Administration Team Lead to ensure alignment with project requirements and standards

Requirements

* 3+ years of experience in systems administration and networking
* IAT II Security+ Certification or equivalent
* CCNA Wireless Certification or equivalent
* Proficient in managing virtual environments (VMware & vSphere)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to lift up to 35kgs
