We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our Real Estate Fund Accounting team as a Senior Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager. In this role, you'll oversee teams responsible for providing administration services to real estate clients, ensuring timely and quality reporting, and managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct teams to provide administration services to real estate clients.
  • Manage processes and resources to ensure timely and quality reporting.
  • Communicate with clients on complex issues.
  • Evaluate German investment law and regulations to determine their impact on BNY Mellon's accounting practices.
  • Develop strategy and provide guidance on implementing company policies.
  • Resolve complex issues escalated from team members.
  • Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff.
  • Identify opportunities for improving processes and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Deep experience in alternatives operations.
  • Track record of operational excellence.
  • Years of experience managing teams, preferably in real estate.
  • Proven management ability in a global organization, managing multiple teams across multiple clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of real estate accounting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lead change and manage complex operational process enhancements.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project management experience an advantage.
  • Experience with Yardi accounting platforms an advantage.
