Accounts Receivable Associate

The Accounting Division, as part of the ABOUT YOU FINANCE department, manages the financial records of all business transactions in accordance with HGB and IFRS standards. This is essential for both internal and external financial reporting. A significant aspect of this role involves financial accounting, which encompasses the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as inventory accounting. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to the digitization of accounting processes and their ongoing enhancement.
In your position as Junior Accountant – Sales & Receivables (Accounts Receivable) (m/f/d), you will take charge of processing business transactions related to accounts receivable and financial accounting, while also playing a part in refining the associated processes. You will have the chance to collaborate with a young, dynamic, and international team that is divided into two sub-teams: B2C and B2B.
Within the B2C Team, you will discover the exciting aspects of accounting in the e-commerce sector. You will gain insights into the operations of online shops across Europe while managing outstanding items.
Conversely, if you join our B2B Team, you will quickly learn that accounting in this area is anything but mundane. From Influencer Hauls to Fulfillment Services and technology-related billing processes, there is always something new to explore.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing various business transactions in accounts receivable
- Communicating with different departments, partners, and payment service providers
- Managing and clarifying outstanding items
- Administering and processing our mailing lists
- Assisting in projects aimed at optimizing accounting processes
Qualifications
- Completed training as an accountant or a comparable qualification in commercial training such as tax clerk, industrial clerk, or office clerk
- Initial professional experience is desirable but not mandatory
- Familiarity with IT systems such as NAV18, Dynamics F&O & SAP 4HANA is advantageous
- Independent and proactive working style with strong communication skills
- Fluency in English
