Role Overview
Kuehne+Nagel is a global leader in freight forwarding and logistics, and we're seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our international 4PL division. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in generating warehouse reports and data quality assurance activities to meet the needs of our customers in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for reporting scope and ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Prepare detailed KPI reports and dashboards on a regular basis to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure data quality and improve reporting processes.
- Support the implementation of new processes and execute user acceptance tests.
- Recognize and address system-related issues impacting data quality.
- Show ownership and execute tasks with expected productivity and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team and overall operations.
Requirements
- Experience and Education: 1-3 years of working experience in logistics, with a relevant degree or apprenticeship in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
- Understanding of Data and IT Capabilities: Clear understanding of the impact of data on business processes and affinity to interact with diverse systems within the end-to-end supply chain process.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Tools: Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook), Tableau/PowerBI, LucidChart, Automation tools.
- Continuous Improvement and Proactive Approach: Proven ability to initiate and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong customer service orientation.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and German.
