About the Role

DB Schenker is seeking a skilled Communication Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Team Content & Internal Communications, you will be responsible for creating and managing content centered around external communications. Your tasks will include producing short videos, collaborating with external service providers, and managing editorial formats across various media channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a content strategy to effectively communicate DB Schenker's brand and product messages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
  • Manage and evolve existing editorial formats to meet the needs of our global audience.
  • Research and implement communication topics, facts, and figures to support storytelling and messaging.
  • Ensure the production and distribution of compelling storytelling that conveys the core messages of our brand and products.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in English, with German and/or additional European languages desirable.
  • Strategic, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with a well-structured approach and strong business thinking.
  • Experience in project management, matrix structures, and influencing external agencies.
  • Hands-on experience with video-related content production, including basic shooting and editing skills.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and journalistic skills in English and preferably German.
