About the Role
Operations form the core of Amazon's mission, ensuring that products are processed and delivered to customers promptly. As a Logistics Fulfillment Coordinator, you will serve as a vital link between Amazon's operational teams and third-party logistics (3PL) fulfillment centers.


Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the primary contact for various Amazon departments needing to engage with the 3PL for inquiries ranging from inventory checks to transportation challenges.

  • Monitor and assess workflows, tracking the performance of third-party logistics providers.
  • Utilize data analytics to discover opportunities for enhancing safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Address operational issues related to the flow of goods to and from external service providers.
  • Resolve challenges that may necessitate onsite supervision or auditing of operations.
  • Facilitate communication between Operations and associated partners, including Supply Chain, Retail, and Transportation teams.


A Day in the Life
Your daily activities will involve managing tasks related to the performance of the 3PL, as well as engaging in special projects, new implementations, and developing strategies for optimization and efficiency.


This role often requires a thorough investigation of issues to identify root causes and devise effective solutions, whether through Amazon systems or by collaborating with the 3PL for support.


Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact with various levels within both Amazon and the 3PL organization. This may include participating in joint projects, conducting investigations, and providing training on Amazon processes and tools.


About the Team
Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) specializes in handling large items such as furniture and major home appliances. Our team oversees the entire service process, from supply chain fulfillment to delivery and returns, ensuring an exceptional level of customer care.


We not only deliver large products but also provide unpacking, assembly, and installation services, as well as the removal of old items when necessary.


With a commitment to safety, productivity, and innovation, we are transforming the way customers purchase and receive large goods.


We have ambitious plans to expand our specialized fulfillment centers and delivery stations across the region.


Basic Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in German, both written and verbal (C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference).
  • Experience in data analytics and utilizing metrics to identify issues.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional context.


Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:

  • Experience in stakeholder management, including the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Background in an operational setting, such as logistics, retail, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Upper-intermediate proficiency in English.
