Your Job

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive claims oversight framework that ensures consistency across all outsourced claims services, aligning with Solvency II requirements.
  • Establish a robust reporting framework for the Board of Management, enabling efficient control and monitoring.
  • Negotiate, maintain, and monitor Service Level Agreements with internal and external outsourcing counterparts for claims services, ensuring compliance and performance.
  • Design and implement an intelligent monitoring system to mitigate conduct and reputational risk, and ensure appropriate financial outcomes for delegated authority and single risks business.
  • Support business development activities, such as identifying and customizing claims service offerings, including loss detection and establishing a network of claims third-party administrators.

Your Profile

  • Claims Management Expertise in primary and reinsurance, as well as across several lines of business (Non-Life and Health).
  • Legal education or other appropriate university degree or qualifications, such as the ACII.
  • German, EU, and/or London Market experience, as well as knowledge of legal and regulatory systems; US market knowledge is a strong plus.
  • Good management skills and abilities.
  • Good internal and external network with lawyers and other service providers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English and German; any additional languages are beneficial.
