Structural Biology Postdoc

We are a young and dynamic group at the Universitätsklinikum Tübingen – Medizinische Fakultät, working on exciting projects in the field of structural biology and inflammation. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our research and teaching activities, and to develop your skills in molecular biology, biochemistry, and structural biology.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform molecular biology techniques, including cloning, mutagenesis, and recombinant protein expression with purification methods.
- Conduct protein biochemistry assays, such as SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, and fluorescence/activity assays, as well as cryo-EM workflows, including grid preparation, data collection, and model building.
- Analyze experimental data and interpret results for scientific reporting.
- PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, life sciences, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in molecular/cellular biology and protein biochemistry.
- Experience in structural biology is desirable.
- Strong interest in structural biology and immunity.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Remuneration in accordance with TV-L (collective wage agreement for the Public Service of the German Federal States).
