Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We're seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team at designface GmbH.

About the Role

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our organization. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating purchase orders in line with our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) demand.
  • Preparing forecasts and collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitoring warehouse inventory levels and following up on open purchase orders and order confirmations.
  • Ensuring quality requirements are met and reflected within our ERP system.
  • Onboarding new suppliers and maintaining existing ones.
  • Recording and maintaining item master data.
  • Facilitating engineering changes and sending updated technical data to suppliers.
  • Reviewing and closing invoices to secure on-time payments.
  • Utilizing data analytics to optimize inbound logistics and inventory levels.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of our ERP and Supplier Portal for end-to-end supply chain integration.
  • Ensuring robustness of plans by maintaining high integrity data.
  • Participating in the implementation and management of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) solutions.
Your Profile

We're looking for a candidate with:

  • A Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and supply chain, with expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning applications.
  • Profound experience in supply chain planning, ordering, forecasting, and logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to make independent decisions, adjust to varying schedules, and solve problems effectively.
  • Industry standard accreditations (APICS, ASCM) are a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English required, German or any other language desired.
