Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Slim Chickens. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and licensing laws.
- Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Monitor and control food costs, stock levels, and waste management.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a kitchen management role, with a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
