In today's fast-paced digital landscape, instant information is the norm. However, transparency disappears when it comes to consumer products and their ethical and sustainable production through supply chains.

This phenomenon highlights the need for a transformation in food systems to address the global climate challenge and safeguard both humanity and the planet.

OpenSC is committed to revolutionizing the way we buy and produce products by providing data on transparency and traceability for supply chains.

We deliver social and environmental impact by offering supply chain transparency that empowers brands to know, influence, and prove the sustainability of their supply chain practices.

This is achieved through our OpenSC platform, which leverages AI, Blockchain, and Remote Sensing technologies to enable automated ingestion, analysis, and sharing of a supply chain's data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with our implementation team to bridge the gap between real-world supply chains and our OpenSC platform.
  • Serve as the technical lead within our onboarding teams to ensure designed and deployed solutions are scalable, maintainable, and make reliable insights possible.
  • Work closely with customers to architect the way our platform collects, receives, and interacts with data.
  • Map existing systems and data flows within supply chains and determine the most effective data collection methods using field observations, third-party IT interactions, and OpenSC data requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive data capture solutions for validating sustainability, ethical production, and product tracing.
  • Create descriptive models of supply chains in cooperation with development, data engineering, and data science teams.
  • Identify reusable implementation patterns that can be developed as reusable platform components and help drive their implementation as part of product development.
Requirements
  • Business fluency in English and Portuguese.
  • Relevant industry experience in technology solution architecture, design, and integration.
  • Solid knowledge of data modeling, transformation, and data ingestion concepts and tools.
  • Familiarity with data orchestration and data pipeline concepts and tooling.
  • Proficiency in programming skills and hands-on experience with databases and SQL.
  • Experience working with cloud service providers, ideally AWS, and supporting data integrations with 3rd parties.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • The ability to hold your own in commercial conversations with customers and tech partners.
  • Passion and desire to work on sustainability topics and ethical production within supply chains.
