Key Responsibilities
- Provide Functional Support to End Users
- Identify, assess, and validate user issues within the PLM system.
- Develop solutions and recommend countermeasures.
- Collaborate with the helpdesk team to ensure daily support of the PLM system.
- Mentor the user community on new processes and functionalities.
- Offer guidance and advice to end users regarding system utilization.
- Document the use of functionalities to address specific challenges and enhance operational efficiency.
- Discuss anticipated system changes and requirements with Key Users.
- Suggest new methodologies or modifications to existing practices.
- Present system evolution proposals to the PLM Change Committee.
- Contribute to the development of necessary reporting and KPIs for the PLM.
- Gather PLM metrics, analyze discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure the integrity of reporting.
- Disseminate reporting and KPIs across various departments.
- Document test specifications and non-regression test scenarios for the system.
- Validate new PLM releases in accordance with the test specifications and non-regression tests.
- Assist the functional and business leader in documenting User Acceptance.
Candidate Profile for the PLM Support Specialist:
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in PLM support (both technical and functional).
- Proficiency with Siemens TeamCenter.
- Strong understanding of BOM management and variant configurator in TeamCenter.
- Familiarity with TeamCenter manufacturing processes.
- General knowledge of CAD systems, preferably Catia V5 and/or Siemens NX.
- Fluent in English and highly proficient in French; knowledge of German is advantageous.
Skills
- Strong analytical abilities to distill complex issues and prioritize effectively.
- Capable of working collaboratively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and experience levels.
- Ability to influence and mentor others, delivering results without direct managerial authority.
- Excellent communication skills at an operational level, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in office software and computer applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
