Finance Internship Opportunity in German Residential Assets

Fundament Advisory is an independent investment manager specializing in German residential assets. With a team of seasoned experts boasting over 70 years of combined experience, we have successfully executed and managed transactions worth more than €5bn.
We are headquartered in Berlin with offices in Munich and Cologne, managing a portfolio of over €900m in residential assets for global blue-chip investors across German metropole regions.
Job DescriptionThis internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside our Acquisitions and Asset Management team, fully integrating into the day-to-day business operations.
- Evaluate new opportunities by assessing their business model, business plan, and other relevant factors.
- Develop financial models and conduct valuations to inform investment decisions.
- Prepare draft presentations for current and prospective projects, showcasing your ability to effectively communicate complex information.
- Support the due diligence process for new targets, ensuring thorough analysis and risk assessment.
- Benchmark and analyze industry trends to stay ahead of market developments.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and optimize investment strategies.
- Collaborate with asset management specialists to develop value-maximizing strategies for our portfolios, coordinating with external providers and property managers as needed.

Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong interest in finance, real estate, M&A, private equity, and related sectors.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, finance, real estate, or a related field, with outstanding academic performance.
- Excellent analytical skills, enabling you to quickly grasp new tasks and contents.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Prior experience in corporate finance or real estate is an advantage but not a requirement.
