Business Process Optimization Lead

At Rhenus Air & Ocean Management GmbH & Co.KG, we are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our business process optimization efforts. As the Head of Operational Excellence, you will play a key role in driving productivity and reducing costs across our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and design business processes to increase productivity and reduce costs annually.
- Collaborate with operators, supervisors, senior leaders, and stakeholders to identify and implement innovative process improvements.
- Use data analysis to identify trends, measure performance, and develop KPIs to drive continuous improvement and meet business objectives.
- Lead change management initiatives and execute projects, ensuring smooth implementation of new processes and systems.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team while traveling across Germany to oversee and implement process improvement projects, maintaining effective communication with the corporate office and branches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, logistics, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in operations, business process management, process engineering, or a similar role within the logistics industry.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and process mapping tools like Excel and Visio.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in productivity and process optimization.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with different stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and possess strong convincing and negotiation skills.
