The Opportunity

A well-designed network is critical to enable US European Command to achieve their missions. We need an experienced virtual infrastructure engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the Command needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and migrate Data Center technologies including Cisco NEXUS products, Cisco UCS, Cisco UCS Manager, Fabric Interconnects, NETAPP storage solutions/SAN configurations, FCOE, VMWARE, ESXi, SNAP mirroring.
  • Perform data center infrastructure network engineering and design on a geographically dispersed enterprise network.
  • Provide engineering efforts in the lifecycle of projects to include documentation, design, build, integrate, transition, implementation, test, and training for transitioned to IT Operations Management.
  • Apply expertise in cloud virtualization and virtual networks, Citrix VDI, Cisco NEXUS products.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of STIG requirements.
  • Ability to document system process and architecture.
  • Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining the virtual aspects of IT infrastructure, Associate's degree and 7 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining the virtual aspects of IT infrastructure, or Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining the virtual aspects of IT infrastructure.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
Nice to Have
  • Experience deploying Cisco ACI and HCI solutions.
  • Experience with software defined networking.
  • Experience with Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer science or technology field.
  • CompTIA CASP+ certification.
  • Citrix certification.
  • ITIL v3 – Foundation certification.
  • CCIE Data Center certification.
  • VMWare NSX certification.
