Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Owner Purchase-to-Pay to join Deutsche Bahn Connect GmbH in Berlin or Frankfurt (Main).

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for overseeing and steering all commercial Purchase-to-Pay processes from demand definition to payment settlement.
  • You will define the strategic P2P process and service scope in consultation and communication with all relevant stakeholders, including departments, controlling, and accounting.
  • You will analyze, optimize, and document existing P2P processes independently, taking into account all stakeholders.
  • You will be responsible for a comprehensive operational KPI setup and reporting along the P2P process, as well as deriving strategic recommendations for the management.
  • You will lead regular strategic and operational P2P steering committees.
  • You will create commercial analyses and develop the cost center accounting for business lines.
  • You will also optimize system support in the P2P process and accompany a system replacement in the context of procurement and side account processes.

Your Profile:

  • Your background should include a completed degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable field.
  • You should have extensive professional experience with a strong analytical profile and be able to demonstrate successes in automating, optimizing, and documenting processes, preferably in the P2P area.
  • You should bring experience in managing creditor transactions and procurement processes, as well as in-depth commercial knowledge combined with a broad understanding of commercial relationships.
  • You should have experience in advising on a management or departmental leadership level.
  • You should have a professional approach to MS Office, particularly Excel, and ideally have good knowledge of SAP R3/S4 HANA.
  • You should be able to bring stakeholders together and translate conflicting interests into solutions.
