About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our E.ON Inhouse Consulting team as a Principal (m/f/d) with a focus on Utilities Infrastructure. As a key member of our senior team, you will play a critical role in driving the energy transition forward and shaping the future of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex energy sector issues and develop strategic solutions for our energy networks business
  • Lead high-impact projects and collaborate with our management team to achieve exceptional results and customer satisfaction
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers across E.ON Group's business units and serve as a trusted advisor to our top management team
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our business, providing expert guidance and support to our regional grid companies
  • Develop and implement thought leadership initiatives to accelerate our transformation and drive innovation
  • Lead international teams and foster the personal and professional growth of our consultants and peers through regular feedback and coaching
  • Represent E.ON in external matters and play a key role in marketing, recruiting, and training initiatives
Requirements
  • Excellent university degree (master's/diploma) in a relevant field, with additional qualifications such as a doctorate or MBA
  • Fluency in German and English, with exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record as a successful project manager in top management consulting or large-scale projects, with at least seven years' relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience in transformation, process optimization, and digitization within energy infrastructure companies, particularly DSOs
  • Deep understanding of the energy industry's challenges and technical complexities, with the ability to develop actionable programs that drive transformation and deliver tangible results
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a talent for inspiring and motivating team members to perform at their best
