About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our data center projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, execution, and delivery of large-scale data center builds or expansions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead data center construction and expansion projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success
  • Ensure that projects adhere to all regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Oversee project resources, including procurement, logistics, and staffing, to ensure optimal project delivery
  • Monitor and report on project progress, providing timely and accurate updates to stakeholders
  • Manage contracts, including negotiations, compliance, and amendments, to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Lead project meetings, workshops, and site visits, both virtually and in person, to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken)
  • Extensive experience in project management for large-scale data center or critical infrastructure projects
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience managing complex construction or technical projects
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
  • Knowledge of local building regulations, safety standards, and data center best practices
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable
