Project Purchaser Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Purchaser to join our team at Vorwerk Autotec GmbH & Co. KG in Wuppertal. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for strengthening our team and driving our purchasing goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze offers to make informed make-or-buy decisions
  • Select and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Monitor and analyze international procurement markets to identify trends and opportunities
  • Participate in optimizing supply chains, processes, and purchasing tools to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve purchasing goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering or business administration with a technical background
  • Proven experience in international purchasing with a strong understanding of MS Office and SAP R/3
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Fluent proficiency in German and excellent English language skills
