About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to join our Backend Engineering team at AppLike Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our cutting-edge advertising and monetization solutions.

Your primary focus will be on translating business needs into projects and features, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation. You will also be responsible for leading a team of engineers, providing guidance, and directing technical aspects of products.

We are looking for a technical generalist with a strong background in software development, specifically in Go. Your expertise in cloud technologies, deployment, and infrastructure will be invaluable in driving our product goals. If you are a driven, team-oriented individual with a passion for technology and problem-solving, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business needs into projects and features
  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers
  • Identify growth needs and hire to grow the team
  • Work with a product lead to plan, implement, and report objectives
  • Implement features for 70+ microservices in our Go backend
  • Contribute improvements to the infrastructure through IaC changes on Terraform
  • Investigate issues by analyzing logs and data

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience working on the backend of large-scale production systems
  • Expertise in Go development or willingness to learn and ramp up proficiency
  • Team lead or mentor experience guiding developers and directing technical aspects
  • Proficient troubleshooter with ability to identify issues through logs and data
  • Curious individual with in-depth understanding of business needs and technology solutions
  • Technical generalist with mastery of one aspect of development and ability to jump into any technology or stack as needed
  • Expertise in deploying cloud technologies with understanding of abstractions and underlying systems
