Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Specialist to join our team in Waiblingen, Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for group legal entities in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).
  • Support entities and provide advice to stakeholders from an accounting and process perspective.
  • Improve accounting processes and drive the implementation of solutions for optimizing and harmonizing processes.
  • Act as the point of contact for assigned units, auditors, tax advisors, authorities, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Tax, or a similar field, combined with several years of relevant professional experience in Accounting functions.
  • Possess strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, and ideally (German) tax law.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, a high level of engagement, and an independent and structured approach to work.
  • Have comprehensive experience with SAP R/3 in the FI module.
  • Be proficient in English, both written and spoken, and feel comfortable in an international environment. Good German language skills are additionally required for this position.
  • Exhibit excellent teamwork skills, be reliable, and have a strong results-oriented mindset.
  • Already possess a permanent work permit valid for Germany. The position is based in Waiblingen, Germany. If you are based outside of Germany, relocation is expected.
