Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior R2R General Ledger Accounting Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and German GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements for group legal entities
  • Support entities and provide advice to stakeholders
  • Improve accounting processes and implement solutions for optimizing and harmonizing processes
  • Act as point of contact for assigned unit, auditors, tax advisors, authorities, and other internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration with focus on Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Tax, or similar field
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Accounting functions
  • Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, and ideally German tax law
  • Excellent analytical skills, high level of engagement, and independent and structured approach to work
  • Comprehensive experience with SAP R/3 in FI module
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken, and feel comfortable in an international environment
  • Good German language skills required
  • Excellent teamwork skills, reliable, and strong results-oriented mindset

Additional Information:

This position is located in Waiblingen, Germany. For applicants currently located outside of Germany relocation is a must.
