Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer in Fabrication and Assembly to join our team at thyssenkrupp nucera AG & Co. KGaA. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and planning of production processes for our international production network.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the fabrication processes, including New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring that processes and changes are designed for manufacturability and released on time.
- Develop, analyze, and manage manufacturing and assembly projects, troubleshooting day-to-day process problems and initiating solutions.
- Set up and configure our new PLM and ERP Systems, transferring the Engineering Bill of Material into the Manufacturing Bill of Material and configuring the manufacturing Bill of Material according to individual production process criteria.
- Handle the transfer of Bill of Material from the Product Lifecycle Management System into ERP, including the setup of routings for internal and external production processes.
- Prepare and manage production orders in ERP, analyzing engineering change notices and determining part or process changes.
- Maintain Fabrication-related Master Data in ERP and work with internal and external suppliers to develop and manage strategically important projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business and Engineering or Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar function.
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter is beneficial, and proficiency in MS Dynamics, SAP R/3, or other ERP systems in the context of production is mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills and focus on a structured way of working, with excellent communication skills in English and German.
- Ready for short support trips within our international production network.
