About the Role
As a Postdoctoral Researcher in our team at EMBL, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge computational methods for modeling the atomic structure of large macromolecular complexes. Your expertise in AI-based algorithms and experimental data integration will be crucial in advancing our understanding of complex biological systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement novel computational methods for structural modeling using AI-based tools and experimental data.
- Investigate and integrate statistical techniques, non-linear optimization approaches, and deep learning methods for improved modeling accuracy.
- Contribute to the development of open-source codebases and disseminate your work through well-documented software packages.
- Collaborate with our research group and external partners to apply these new methods to research projects within the TransFORM consortium.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher with a strong background in computational structural biology, computer science, or a related field. Your expertise in machine learning, numerical libraries, and software dissemination is essential for this role. A strong motivation to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment is also crucial.
