Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our Mission Technologies Division. This role will be based at our global Army training site in Hohenfels, Germany, and is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and continuously evaluate and improve the vendor base.
- Conduct spend analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient flow of goods and services.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and develop risk management procedures to mitigate losses.
- Supervise the purchasing team and collaborate with the legal department to ensure favorable contract terms.
- Ensure adherence to procurement guidelines, acquisition best practices, and contract management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize the WISE system to initiate and process purchase requests.
- 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 8 years of experience with a Master's degree in a related field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance.
