Job Title: Procurement Manager

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies.

Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for devising sound cost-effective strategies for purchasing materials, maintaining relationships with suppliers, and evaluating spending operations to improve product quality and timeliness of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts
  • Evaluate and improve procurement processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure effective procurement operations
  • Conduct cost analyses and develop risk management procedures to mitigate losses
  • Supervise the purchasing team and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
  • 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 8 years of experience with a Master's degree in a related field
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance
