Development of Mechanical Manufacturing Technologies

Robert Bosch GmbH is a leading global supplier of technology and services. We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Mechanical Engineering Intern.

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for conducting process investigations, such as for example for pressing or stemming processes in the area of direct fuel injection or the new brake systems.

You will work independently to create and execute test plans, conduct tests, and evaluate them statistically. You will also create a test report based on the test results.

You will be part of our team and together with us, you will inspect, label, and measure test parts, learning the sensitive handling of these.

You will learn about the influencing factors in our processes and will be helpful to us by drawing with CAD or making hand sketches for the production of test tools.

You will work closely with our workshop, development, production, and prototype and toolmaking departments and learn how we coordinate in the SE team.

You will also support us in the development of new, market-unavailable manufacturing technologies or their optimization and help us secure our competitive advantage.

Requirements
  • Education: Study in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience and knowledge: safe handling of MS Office
  • Personality and work style: independent, flexible, self-initiative, and goal-oriented person
  • Languages: very good German and English in writing and speaking
