Risk Framework Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Framework Specialist to join our team at Clearstream Banking AG. As a key member of our Risk Framework & Governance unit, you will be responsible for the development, improvement, and maintenance of our Risk Framework and Risk Governance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk assessment methodologies, risk models, and stress-testing frameworks to support our risk management strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and update policies, procedures, and handbooks to ensure regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and support the maintenance of our Financial Risk framework.
- Perform Pillar II calculations for risk reporting, capital, and strategy planning, and implement SREP requirements for our Clearstream entities.
- Coordinate risk reporting and support risk reviews, with a focus on operational risk.
- Provide guidance and support to our Risk Controlling teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of our Risk Framework and Risk Governance.
- Provide timely analytical commentary and insights on the Risk Framework environment and new regulations to our governance forums and senior management.
- Contribute to audits and annual reports.
- Relevant university degree in economics, business studies, legal/compliance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in developing and implementing Risk Frameworks, with a focus on policy and procedure frameworks, risk assessment, risk models, and stress-testing.
- Experience in Non-Financial Risk Management, particularly in financial services, banking, or financial market infrastructure providers, is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English, German, and/or French is an advantage.
- Strong command of MS Office.
