We are seeking an experienced Bank Chef de Partie to join our dynamic Kitchen Team at Bishopstoke Park, a retirement village located in the heart of Hampshire.

About the Role

As a Bank Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of meals for our residents and guests. This is a bank role, which means you will work on a flexible basis to cover sickness, holidays, and other absences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting up the kitchen section prior to service
  • Cooking a specific portion of each plated meal
  • Assisting with food preparation, including marinating, cutting, and precooking
  • Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen area
  • Wrapping and storing unused items
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • A City & Guilds qualification, NVQ, or Btec in Hospitality or Cheffing
  • A Food Hygiene qualification
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A good understanding of kitchen procedures and food safety
