Bishopstoke Park - Bank Chef de Partie

We are seeking an experienced Bank Chef de Partie to join our dynamic Kitchen Team at Bishopstoke Park.

About the Role

This is a Bank Role, which may include weekend and evening shifts, to cover sickness and holidays. As a Bank Chef de Partie, you will be working in a busy Kitchen at the heart of our Village, providing services to a Village Restaurant and catering for our onsite Carehome.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting up a section prior to a restaurant's opening
  • Cooking a specific portion of each plated meal
  • Assisting with marinating, cutting, and precooking foods
  • Cleaning their kitchen section before the restaurant closes
  • Cleaning and sanitising their area with warm water and soap
  • Wrapping unused items and storing them in proper areas at the end of a shift
Requirements
  • Preferably a City & Guilds Qualification, NVQ, Btec or other qualification in Hospitality or Cheffing
  • Food Hygiene Qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience needed
  • A Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) foundation course preferred or an equivalent
  • A Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Food Safety or an equivalent
