About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead UX Designer to join our UX team at Aroundhome. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the development of our digital products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of UX designers and champion their personal development
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to drive the design process and ensure an optimal user experience
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors, and use this knowledge to inform design decisions
  • Work closely with UX researchers to develop and test prototypes, and ensure that designs are user-centered and effective
  • Drive the development of our UX, visual design language, and working methods, and ensure that they are aligned with business goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or comparable training, and several years of operational professional experience in UX design
  • Experience in leading small design teams, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs on time and on budget
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, conversion optimization, and the latest UX trends
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English, and a good to very good knowledge of German
